Thanksgiving (2003)
Back to Home Page.
This year we had a lot to be thankful for at Thanksgiving.  We had a good year together, Karen had finally got her UC into remission and Melody was going to have the oppportunity to explore some other job options.  We moved into a house her father was going to sell and exchanged remodeling labor for rent.
We are healthy and happy, what else could anyone be more thankful for?
Karen poses, ready to dig into our Thanksgiving feast, thankful for another year of blessings!
You would never know it by looking at the table, but it was just Melody and I for dinner...oh, and of course our 4-legged kids
The table is all decked out for Thanksgiving, including the floral centerpiece.
We made each of the kids their own bowl of turkey to eat while we had our dinner.  Believe it or not, they all ate nicely together, no fighting.

Melody excited to get started on all her thansgiving favorites.
Let's eat!!
This turkey hung over the table and watched over us as we ate.
He would have held a lot of stuffing...maybe next year we will stuff him instead!
This is one of our Thanksgiving placemats.  We decorated the table with a paper table cloth that Chester pretty much destroyed by Thanksgiving dinnertime.  It lasted just long enough!
The living room is decorated for the occasion.
The kitchen got into the spirit as well.  By now you probably realize that Karen likes to decorate for the holidays.  Stand still long enough and she will decorate you too!!  Melody better not sit in one place too long.
