Day 4: Barbecue
Back to Home Page.
After all the shopping, we needed an easy day at home.  So we decided to have a cook-out and make Mom some of our favorite foods.  I guess we thought we were cooking for a crowd, because we sure made a lot to eat.
That's what leftovers are food.  Everything tastes just as good the next day!
Our table is filled with all the yummy foods we grilled.  Everything from chicken, shrimp and salmon to veggies and baked potatoes.
You would never have guessed that only 3 of us were there for dinner!
Karen and Mom watch over the grill as all the good food cooks.
Who's the chef and the sous-chef?
I'll never tell!
We cooked some salmon to let Mom try some.  She had never has salmon before and wanted to try it.  Doesn't that look good?
Veggies on skewers, chicken and baked potatoes getting cooked to perfection.
Yum, I can't wait to start eating!
Grilled shrimp along with the vegetables from the skewers.  We had musharooms, peppers and onions to chose from.
A plate full of grilled chicken breasts.
Now that's Good Eats!
We couldn't forget dessert.  Tastty pieces of  watermelon and cantelop are cut to perfection, and devoured quickly.
What a way to end a feast!
