Description of Submission: "For my culminating sociology senior capstone project in college, I wrote a paper exploring the possibilities of third genders in the United States.  I examined transgenders, transexuals, intersexuals, and gender blenders as possible sbujgects for this third category.  To provide a backdrop for my analysis, I reviewed some gender theory and also looked at non-western cultures that have adopted a third gender category

Biography:  Kyla attends Towson University.  This is her second graduate year.  She is focusing on women studies.  In the future she hopes to work in a nonprofit organization.

Why Karen and Melody Liked It:  It had very detailed analysis on the transgender, transexual, intersexual and gender issues.  It was a new topic for us to hear about the third gender.
