Update on the Bathroom Issue 7/22/06 from Mandi:
"As an update about my piece, my high school has not yet created a generally accessible gender-neutral or family bathroom. It has, however, taken proactive steps to address individual students' needs by designating the nurse's office as a sort of "gender-free" zone. We are working with the administration to create a system where students do not have to "out" themselves in order to use bathrooms that are comfortable for them. "Loren" graduated in June and attended prom with his girlfriend, wearing a tux.
