Biography: Jimmy is a Junior at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He is majoring in graphic communications. In his spare time, he volunteers for the GLBT Resource Center "Pride Alliance". As well, he is inovled in the school newspaper "Daily Mustang".
Why Karen and Melody Liked It: We awarded Jimmy the "Special Judges" award because he had submitted many great exceptional works, "Untitled" was a beautiful drawing of an Asian gay couple with a nicely written chinese poem. "The Beginnings" showed a lot of great photos from Jimmy's adventure in getting married at San Francisco. "Gay Chocolate" was a very creative way to promote the GSA clubs. Having the Hershey candy wrapped with positive quotes, definitely was very unique idea. |
