Description of Submission: "I made a  video describing my challenges as the daugter of two moms and the nice of an uncle who was gay and died of HIV/AIDS.  The video follows my journey in overcoming these challenges." - Melissa

Biography: Melissa will be a freshman attending University of Oregon.  She is looking to major in Psychology.  In the future, she hopes to become a psychologist for children.

Why Karen and Melody Liked It: We liked this video because we get to see what it is like to be a daughter of two gay moms.  The experience she goes through is very real.  From being a child not caring whether she has two gay moms, to junior high, where she becomes ashamed of her moms, to finally high school, accepting that her mom's are gay and embracing it by getting more involved in the gay community.  The video editing was very well, with good narration of the scenes and good transitions.
