Dear Me,
I’m proud of you for the person you are.
I’m proud of your tears and your pain.
I’m proud of the happiness that springs from your eyes.
I’m proud of your infinite faith.
I’m proud of your inner beauty.
I’m proud of what you’ve been through.
I’m proud of what you’ve become.
I’m proud of the defense you put up like a wall.
I’m proud you know who to let scale it.
I’m proud of the anger and determination you fight with.
I’m proud of your curiosity towards life.
I’m proud of your voice and how it carries.
I’m proud of how the day is brighter because of the people you love.
I’m proud of your ability to take insults in stride.
I’m proud you know when to be true to yourself.
I’m proud of so much more than you’ll ever admit to.
I have so much pride in you.
