I Miss Her |

I miss my honey, |
her warmth, her touch, |
her gentle kiss on my lips. |
I miss her holding me, |
making me feel secure |
making me feel loved. |
I miss her smile, |
her golden curly hair, |
her beautiful laughter. |
She is the love of my life |
and I want to be with her, |
close to her. |
Yet she is far, |
but one day we will be together |
close with one another. |
Till that time, |
I will continue to miss her |
and love her. |

Background: I wrote this poem one night when I was really missing Karen. I sent the paper I wrote the poem on to her in the mail. It took two months for her to get the mail. Amazing how slow our postal service is. |
